Founder
Aslı Töre
After graduating from the University of Oxford, Aslı Töre founded Voluta Education Consultancy in 2020. She works directly with each student and family during the entire university application process.
Aslı graduated from Robert College in Istanbul and completed the double major program in Sociology and Psychology and the certificate program in Film & Video at Koç University. During her studies, she worked at research labs in the fields of Social Cognitive Psychology and Sociology of Education, tutored in Psychology, Statistics and Symbolic Logic, and completed a summer exchange program at UCLA.
She earned an MSc in Social Anthropology from St. Antony’s College at the University of Oxford and contributed to research at the European Studies Centre upon graduation.
Her approach to educational consultancy involves developing an in-depth understanding of the interests, talents and goals of the student. Her training in psychology and her academic and professional experience in research, teaching, and writing are the backbones of her advisory practice. She is certified under British Council, The GREAT Campaign and Study UK as an educational consultant and she follows the ethical principles of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and abides by the London Statement.
